Beta Chi Chapter | FOUNDED 1868

My name is John Hunter and I am a Junior at the University of Minnesota fulfilling the pre-medical requirements in the College of Biological Sciences. My major is biochemistry here at the U, and I am currently studying for the MCAT so I can get into medical school. During the summers when I am not in Minnesota I go back to my home in California where I enjoy skim boarding and hanging out on the beach. My hobbies include basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. I enjoy playing intramurals here at the U and enjoy just hanging out with my friends. When I am not playing sports I enjoy watching sports. My favorite teams for the various professional sports I watch include the Boston Red Sox, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Orlando Magic. I joined PIKE in spring of 2009 and have enjoyed my time so far. I joined PIKE because I felt like it was a great way to get away from studying and it is nice to know there is always something you can go do with your brothers. In addition I joined PIKE because I felt like it would lead to many opportunities to further develop my social and leadership skills.
