My name is Mike, but people call me Nosh. I am a senior in the Carlson School of Management and I am a Recruitment Chair and a member of the Executive Board for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. People and sports are my passions. Football, basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, you name the time and place and I'm there.
As a freshman I had no interst in becoming a member of the Greek community. I had to many preconceived notions about Greek life and did not want to be apart of such things - that is until I found out about PIKE. The organization certainly is not your typical run of the mill fraternity. Our backbone is based on the SLAG moto (Students, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen). This appealing set of ideals coupled with being a founding father was so inriguing that I had no choice but to join. Our goal is to bridge the Greek community with students, athletes, and the surrounding community through charity events and social gatherings. PIKE has broadened my social horizons, aided in my professional development, and connected me to a fraternal network across the country which can do nothing but help come time to get a job.
Joining PIKE was the greatest decision I've made since coming to school and I compel you to at least look into our organization - I guarantee you won't regret it.
