I am a Neuroscience major at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cites Campus. I am planning on attending either Medical school or Graduate school after my undergraduate years. The reason I joined a fraternity was that I wanted to enhance my college experience. The reason I chose Pi Kappa Alpha was because I could see myself getting along well with the other guys and PIKE seemed to be the only fraternity who had the drive to be the best on campus. After being initiated in the Fall of 2009, I have come to realize that becoming a PIKE has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Pi Kappa Alpha has providing me with a wealth of opportunities to take on leadership roles and has enabled me to discover and refine my true potential. It was not only a bond that I made with a group of guys, it was a bond I made with guys all over the country and all generations. I can not imagine what my college experience would be like if I had not been apart of Pi Kappa Alpha. The values that are essential to the foundation of PIKE are values that I shall hold true during college and for the rest of my life.
